College Football Playoff rankings, Dec. 2: Alabama moves ahead of Notre Dame
The penultimate College Football Playoff rankings of the 2025 season are here.
The selection committee updated their top-25 on Tuesday evening — the final rankings release before the official bracket is announced on Sunday after conference championship games.
There’s much to discuss and debate this week. Texas A&M suffered its first loss of the season while bubble teams like Texas, Miami and Notre Dame all strengthened their CFP cases. Additionally, Ole Miss moved to 11-1 but lost head coach Lane Kiffin to LSU.
