As the 2026 college football regular season continues to roll along, schools across the country are starting to look for new and innovative ways to keep their home fans showing up week after week to support the program.
Group of 6 programs in particular typically struggle with keeping their respective student bodies and wider fanbases engaged as the weather gets colder, especially if they are already out of the College Football Playoff race.
The Florida Atlantic Owls are currently in this predicament, but they may have found a way to keep their home stadium rocking over the back half of the regular season with a new in-game promotion featuring beers as cheap as $1.
According to an official announcement by Florida Atlantic Athletics, the university will be rolling out its new 3-2-1 beer deal during this week’s home matchup against Rice that will offer $3 draft beers to fans during pregame activities and the first quarter of play, $2 beers during the second quarter and halftime, and $1 beers during the third quarter.
The promo is a joint venture between Islamorada Brewery and Distillery, the Owls’ official craft beer sponsor, and it will be available to all attendees this Saturday who are over the age of 21.
If there’s one sure-fire way to get college kids fired up for a football game, it’s to pair said game with extremely cheap draft beer. As such, the crowd inside Flagler Credit Union Stadium is sure to be packed and rowdy all game as the Owls look to move to 5-2 on the year.
