College GameDay, LaVar Arrington make picks for key SEC Week 5 games

College GameDay was live in State College, Pennsylvania, on Saturday morning ahead of a top-6 showdown between Penn State and Oregon on Saturday night.
That might be the highest-ranked game of the day, but in the SEC, we have a loaded slate as well. Alabama heads to Georgia on Saturday night, with Ole Miss hosting LSU as the mid-afternoon appetizer.
The GameDay crew of Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and Kirk Herbstreit was joined by Penn State alum and longtime NFL linebacker LaVar Arrington to pick winners for the day’s biggest games.
Stanford Steve picked Auburn (+7.5) at Texas A&M as his super dog. Howard picked Mississippi State (+7.5) against Tennessee as his super dog.
