College GameDay reveals celebrity guest picker for Week 2 show at Oklahoma

Trae Young will help get Oklahoma football fans fired up for Saturday’s top-25 showdown with Michigan.
College GameDay announced the Oklahoma basketball great as the Week 2 celebrity guest picker in a Thursday social media post.
“Excited to welcome y’all to my hometown, my home city of Norman, Oklahoma, and be this weekend’s celebrity guest picker on College GameDay,” Young said in a video message. “Just a week after Lee Corso decided to hang it up, we got that team from up north coming down here, and I’m not worried at all.
“I’m ready to set the tone. I know Sooner fans are ready to set the tone, so we know what we gotta do: boomer f—- sooner!”

Though it’s Week 2, Young will actually be the first celebrity guest picker of the 2025 college football season. This year, there was no College GameDay for the Week 0 slate. In Week 1, the show did not have a celebrity guest picker; instead, it focused on Corso’s final headgear pick inside Ohio Stadium.
Young, a star with the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, is sure to get a warm welcome from OU fans in Norman.
