Luke Bryan is known as one of country music’s brightest stars. His son is hoping to become a star on the gridiron.

Bryan’s oldest son, Bo, is a high school quarterback recruit and a member of the class of 2027. Until Tuesday, his only offers were from three FCS programs: Austin Peay, North Alabama, and UT Martin.

Now, Georgia has thrown its hat into the ring. Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs have extended an offer to the younger Bryan, according to Rivals.com.

“This means a lot to me just because of being a Georgia fan my whole life,” Bo Bryan told Rivals’ Chad Simmons.

Bo Bryan, who also plays baseball and wrestles at Battle Ground Academy just outside of Nashville, has put together a solid senior campaign. He has thrown for 2,006 yards, 30 touchdowns, and just three interceptions. The 6-foot, 200-pounder has helped his team to a 7-1 record. But he suffered a setback on Friday after breaking his collarbone, possibly meaning his high school career has come to an end.

Luke Bryan, a native of Leesburg, Ga., grew up a Georgia fan and has been a presence at Sanford Stadium over the years. The three-time ACM and two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Award winner — and American Idol judge — has also been a guest picker on College GameDay twice during the show’s visits to Athens.

Now, there’s a good chance his son could be suiting up for the Bulldogs in due time.
