At 9-3, it has been a great season for the Florida Gators, especially after how the 2017 season ended under Jim McElwain.
Now, they’ll play the team that McElwain has been serving as the WR coach for this season (before landing the Central Michigan job on Sunday) in the Peach Bowl.
After learning that his team would be playing in Atlanta against Michigan, coach Dan Mullen said he’s excited for the opportunity to play in a New Year’s 6 bowl:
"We will have some more time off to focus on academics and get our bodies right before we get back to work, prepare for the game and enjoy our time in Atlanta, which is a special city for us and our fans."-Mullen 2/2

The Gators have never beaten the Wolverines, as Michigan is 4-0 against them all-time (including a perfect 3-0 mark since 2007).
The Peach Bowl kicks off at noon Eastern time on Dec. 29 and can be seen on ESPN.
