The 2019 regular season is now over, and now we’ll wait to see where teams go this bowl season.
On Sunday, following Rivalry Week action, former Florida State QB-turned-CBS analyst Danny Kanell ranked his top 8 teams, with 3 SEC squads making the cut.
As you can see below, LSU checks in at No. 3, with Georgia at No. 6 and Florida in at No. 8:

Alabama is out of his top 8 after losing a dramatic game against Auburn on Saturday, and will likely be out of the top 8 in Tuesday’s College Football Playoff rankings as well.
How similar will Kanell’s rankings be to the Playoff committee’s rankings? We’ll find out soon enough.
