David Pollack has seen everything that is going on in the college football world, and there is absolute chaos going on every week.
With so much parity in the sport, upsets are happening every single week. With this chaos, the potential for a three-loss team that makes it to the College Football Playoff.
For Pollack, one team from the SEC that he thinks could still make it is South Carolina.
โIf South Carolina runs the table, theyโre in the College Football Playoff,โ Pollack said.
The Gamecocks were thought to be left for dead after being 2-3, but the team has rallied behind Shane Beamer.
In their most recent win, the Gamecocks dominated Oklahoma. Between the offensive performance by LaNorris Sellers and the defensive effort, the Gamecocks are playing as well as any team in the SEC.
While the SEC schedule is difficult every week, the Gamecocks are set up to make a big run in November. There is a huge home game looming against Georgia late in the year, and that could provide the team with a signature prove it moment.
Up next for the Gamecocks is a home game against a struggling Texas A&M team. Kickoff against the Aggies is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
