Da’Von Brown, an Ole Miss analyst, is expected to be hired as a defensive backs coach at Western Kentucky.

Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports reported that the 25-year old Brown, a former standout defensive back under Lane Kiffin at FAU, previously received consideration for the cornerbacks coach opening at Ole Miss prior to the Rebels hiring the coach from Western Kentucky that Brown will now replace, Keynodo Hudson.

As a senior in 2019, Brown drew his first collegiate start in the season opener at Ohio State, a game that he tallied 8 tackles, including one for a loss of one yard. Later that season, he led the Owls with 8 tackles in FAU’s 49-6 win over UAB in the 2019 C-USA Championship game.
