Deion Sanders and Sonny Dykes shared some respect for one another during an injury timeout in the 3rd quarter of Colorado’s upset win at TCU.
TCU running back Trey Sanders, an Alabama transfer, went down for a brief moment, and after he appeared to be OK, Sanders gave the Horned Frog some words of support, tapped him on the head, and then gave a quick hug to Dykes.
The classy gesture was appreciated by FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt during the broadcast.
Sanders came back in the game and overall had a big performance as he rushed 15 times for 46 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Sanders came to Boulder, Colorado, to revitalize a long-dormant program, and did it by executing an unprecedented roster makeover.
The win was fueled by many plays from the likes of 2-way star Travis Hunter, Dylan Edwards and Shedeur Sanders as Sanders brought in 87 newcomers to Colorado, which won only 1 game last season and has only 2 winning records since 2005.

Edwards caught 3 touchdown passes, including a 75-yarder in the opening minute of the second half, and ran for another score.
Hunter had 11 catches for 119 yards, and 2 interceptions that TCU’s Chandler Morris threw in or near the end zone. He played more than 120 snaps.
