Nation’s No. 1 junior college defensive back De’Jahn Warren announces his commitment to Georgia

Good news Dawg Nation, Kirby Smart’s program just landed a commitment from the nation’s No. 1 junior college cornerback prospect.

Monday morning, 6-foot, 175-pound De’Jahn Warren of Lackawanna Community College announced his commitment to Georgia over Alabama, Tennessee, Florida State, Maryland, Oklahoma and Penn State. If you are wondering how Maryland sneaked in there, Warren is originally from Hyattsville, MD.

According to 247Sports Composite Rankings, Warren ranks as the nation’s No. 1 junior college cornerback prospect and the No. 2 overall JUCO recruit in the 2021 recruiting cycle.

His pledge gives the Bulldogs 15 total commitments in the 2021 recruiting cycle. Georgia’s class currently ranks No. 5 in the SEC
