Derek Stingley Jr., after Lisfranc surgery, reportedly makes decision on NFL Scouting Combine

Derek Stingley Jr., who is recovering from Lisfranc surgery, will not workout for NFL scouts until April 6, according to a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Stingley is nearly 100 percent, but will not work out at the Combine as he continues to recover. Stingley has been ticketed for the NFL since his sensational freshman season.
Despite playing in only 3 games due to injury this season, Stingley is projected as a high pick in April’s NFL draft. He was a consensus All-American in 2019 and an AP and Coaches first-team All-SEC selection in 2020.
Stingley finished his LSU career with 73 tackles, 6 interceptions, 7 tackles for loss and 21 passes defended. When he committed to LSU, Stingley was a 5-star recruit out of Dunham High School in Baton Rouge.

Stingley started all 25 games in which he appeared during his LSU career, and LSU went 20-5 in those games, including a 15-0 record his true freshman season in 2019. Stingley is a two-time first team All-SEC selection at cornerback.
