Most people love a good dog….

On Saturday’s edition of ESPN’s “College Gameday,” it was a a dog named Kirby, in honor of Georgia coach Kirby Smart, that stole the show.

The six-month old bulldog ended up being a part of the show, which included a spot with legendary WWE wrestler Ric Flair. In addition, it was another moment by “Kirby” that has us all in the feels. Kirby was captured in a video with Georgia’s mascot “Hairy Dawg” that has since gone viral. Photographer Blane Marable posted a video (below) on his Facebook account last Saturday of Hairy Dawg playing with Kirby.

The moment has been such a hit that is has been shared on Facebook over 82,000 times and the post includes over 20,000 comments. The video had also been viewed over 6.8 million times.

โ€œHairy Dawg kept walking by and petting Kirby, and he was just fascinated by him,โ€ Roelkey told theย Atlanta Journal-Constitution. โ€œHe growled at first, but then he just wanted to play with him. He thought Hairy was just this big, ol’ huge chew toy. So, I put him down and he just started jumping up and down on Hairy. Hairy sat down and they just started playing and Kirby loved it.”

Oh…Did I mention Georgia beat Notre Dame 23-17?ย  Yeah..that was a little closer than many of us anticipated. Maybe this Kirby can coach better than the real one!
