Tennessee fans, you’d better be paying attention.

Clemson just intercepted UNC QB Drake Maye and took it the distance to take a 32-10 lead late in the ACC Championship game. That’s significant to Tennessee fans because, barring extreme circumstances, the winner of the ACC will likely play the Vols in the Orange Bowl.

It was a backbreaker for North Carolina, too. Maye and the Tar Heels were getting ready to score and bring it within 7. Instead, they find themselves down 22 with just over 20 minutes to play.

The Tigers have played well under quarterback Cade Klubnik. He replaced DJ Uiagalelei after a rough start to the game.

The Tigers will finish the year 12-2 heading into their bowl matchup, having fallen to only Notre Dame earlier in the year and South Carolina last week.
