Two LSU players received good news on the legal front Monday.
Ross Dellenger of The Advocate reported updates from East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore on legal matters involving LSU players OL Adrian Magee and RB Lanard Fournette.
Magee, who was arrested in April on a charge of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling, had his charges dropped on the request of the victim. On Sunday, Orgeron indicated that Magee, who rejoined the team during summer workouts, may still face internal discipline.
“Got to see (what) his status is,” Orgeron said, per Dellenger. “Everything is still unknown with Adrian. He’s going to be in camp. Got to figure out what his status is going to be throughout the season. Something yet to be determined.”
Fournette, who was arrested in May for allegedly gambling at a casino with a false ID, has enter a pretrial diversion program for first-time offenders, which will likely result in dropped charges upon completion.
LSU entered training camp on Monday.
