Ed Orgeron went the extra mile in wishing his social media followers a Merry Christmas this year. The former SEC head coach read the “Cajun Night Before Christmas” in a video (below) posted to his Facebook page Friday.

For those unfamiliar, the “Cajun Night Before Christmas,” as the title suggests, puts a Cajun spin on the classic “The Night Before Christmas” with alligators, bayou dialect and more.

Orgeron accompanied the video post with, “Merry Christmas to all, til I saw you some mo!”

Orgeron said that he was headed to Destin, Florida for a vacation after coaching his final game with LSU, a thrilling 27-24 upset win over division rival Texas A&M on Nov. 27. Offensive line coach Brad Davis is handling the Tigers’ prep for the Texas Bowl.
