The LSU Tigers made quick work of the Miami Hurricanes on Sunday night in Dallas, controlling the game from the opening whistle and then holding on for a 33-17 win.
For LSU coach Ed Orgeron, the game was personal, as he served as the Hurricanes’ DL coach from 1988 to 1992.
By picking up a win over the Hurricanes, Coach O continued his incredible streak of never losing to a former employer, improving to 7-0 against his former teams as LSU’s interim and full-time head coach:
With a win over Miami tonight, Ed Orgeron will go to 7-0 as LSU's interim and regular head coach vs. former employers. The wins are over Ole Miss (2), Arkansas (2), Syracuse, Tennessee and Miami, which trails 33-3.

Coach O will get two more chances to add to that streak this year, as the Tigers still have games against Arkansas and Ole Miss remaining.
One thing is certain, though — Coach O really enjoys sticking it to his former employers.
