Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri Tigers were the talking point of the college football world in Week 5 after they dominated previously undefeated Florida at home, 45-17. The Gators had just upset Ole Miss and were coming to Columbia with one of the best rushing attacks in the country. Instead, it was the Tigers that came to play on Saturday, as they dominated the Gators in every facet of the game.
With his team performing so well, Drinkwitz was recognized for that performance by being named the Paul “Bear” Bryant National Coach of the Week Award.

Up next for Missouri is another home game, this time against the Texas A&M Aggies. The Aggies were in the College Football Playoff last year and were looked at as a team that had the talent to once again contend for a spot. However, things aren’t off to a great start, as the Aggies sit at 3-2 entering this game.
The SEC has proven to be cruel to teams that get the big win, and they have come out the next week and not played to the same level.
