Eli Drinkwitz trolls Mizzou fan who doubted Tigers during Kansas game
It was a good day for Mizzou coach Eli Drinkwitz, whose Tigers defeated Kansas 42-31 on Saturday afternoon in Columbia.
After the game, Drinkwitz decided to fire back at a fan who was doubting his team during the game against the Jayhawks. The fan said Drinkwitz “has to be fired” if Mizzou loses to KU in the first Border War since 2011. The user also said he would rescind all “NIL funding” if he was a booster in the vent of a loss.
The fan shared that message on social media at 5:35 p.m. central time — meaning it came in at some point in the second half.
Drinkwitz saw the message after the game and had a succinct reply that was dripping in sarcasm.
“Guess we’ll never never know,” he said.

The Kansas victory is another huge feather in Drinkwitz’s cap as Mizzou’s head coach. He’s won 10+ games in back-to-back seasons and now has a win over Missouri’s biggest rival on his résumé.
Drinkwitz and the Tigers will now re-group before hosting Louisiana next weekend.
