Elyjah Thurmon released his top 8 list on Sunday. It’s safe to say he is favoring the SEC.
Thurmon is a 4-star OL from the 2024 class. The 247Sports Composite lists him as the No. 25 IOL and No. 47 prospect in the state of Georgia. He brings a lot of size to the table at 6-foot-3.5, 271 pounds.
The SEC schools inside his top 8 included LSU, Missouri, Florida, and South Carolina. The other four schools were Georgia Tech, Clemson, Duke, and UCF.

The Georgia native has not been offered by the Bulldogs yet. App State, USF, Chattanooga, FAU, Georgia Southern, Liberty, Troy, and Wake Forest have also offered him.
LSU, South Carolina, and Florida all have commits from an IOL via the 2024 class. Missouri is the only SEC program featured that does not have one just yet.
Thurmon attends Bradwell Institute in Hinesville, Georgia. He is a multi-sport athlete who also plays basketball.
