The first 4 weeks of the 2025 season have gone about as poorly as they could have for the Florida Gators, as they currently sit at 1-3 on the year and have looked completely inept on the offensive side of the ball.

The fact that the Gators are sitting in such an incredibly bad spot in just Week 5 after entering the season with high hopes and a top-25 ranking is pretty remarkable, and it’s only likely to get worse from here.

Just how bad things ultimately end up being remains to be seen, but the folks over at ESPN Insights have just put out a post on X that sums up the dire situation in Gainesville in a nutshell.

According to ESPN Analytics, the Gators have almost the exact same chance to lose out and finish with a 1-11 record (3.8%) as they do of winning at least 5 more games to become bowl eligible (5.7%).

This is one of those statistics that sounds so absurd that it must be fake, but unfortunately for Florida fans, it is very much real. If there were ever one single thing that could be pointed to to show just how badly things have deteriorated under Napier in 2025, it would have to be this.
