The countdown to the start of the 2019 college football season continues as ESPN has ranked the players they consider to be the 50 best entering the sport’s 150th season.

No surprise at the top of the list, as Trevor Lawrence is rated No. 1 with Tua Tagovailoa at No. 2. It is also interesting that the SEC has four of the top five selections.

The Crimson Tide lead the way with 10 overall selections while Georgia and LSU each have three players listed below.

Here are a few questionable omissions from the SEC that jump out upon first glance: South Carolina receiver Bryan Edwards, Tennessee offensive lineman Trey Smith, Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond, Missouri quarterback Kelly Bryant, Auburn lineman Nick Coe, Kentucky linebacker Kash Daniel, Kentucky receiver Lynn Bowden, Mississippi State linebacker Erroll Thompson, Mississippi State cornerback Cameron Dantzler and Vanderbilt tight end Jared Pinkney.

Here is every SEC player listed on ESPN’s top 50 list, including their overall rank on the list:

#2 Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama

#3 Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

#4 Grant Delpit, S, LSU

#5 Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
