Ahead of a huge SEC matchup this weekend, ESPN’s SP+ gave its prediction for the game.
Georgia and Missouri face off on Saturday with a lot riding on the game. If Missouri can come up with an upset, it could be on its way to an SEC Championship. But Georgia isn’t looking to take its first loss since 2021, especially not at home.
Georgia is coming off a dominant win over rival Florida and looking to keep the momentum going across its tough November slate. The Bulldogs are looking for their 3rd-straight national championship, and a win over the Tigers would put them in good position to reach the CFP.
Missouri has been one of the hottest teams in the SEC this season, facing just one loss to LSU early. Missouri is coming off its bye week ready to try and pull of a big upset.
ESPN’s SP+, which is a predictive measure that analyzes the most predictable assets of the game, is favoring Georgia in this one. SP+ gives Georgia an 80% chance to win with a projected win margin of 14.8 and a final score prediction of 34-20.
