Exiled Michigan staffer Connor Stalions pokes fun at CJ Carr watching brother play for Wolverines
Exiled Michigan staffer Connor Stalions showed off his brilliant sense of humor on Saturday afternoon.
With Notre Dame on a bye week, Fighting Irish quarterback CJ Carr had the perfect opportunity to head to Ann Arbor to watch his brother, Tommy Carr, make his first career start for Michigan. The Wolverines were hosting defending national champion Indiana on national TV, so Tommy Carr, a true freshman, was thrust into the spotlight, and his big brother wanted to see it all go down.
Naturally, the cameras spotted CJ Carr from his vantage point at The Big House, and Stalions couldn’t help himself in chiming in with his impressions. Three years after Stalions was exiled from college football for his role in Michigan’s sign-stealing scandal when Jim Harbaugh was the head coach, the 31-year-old Stalions couldn’t help himself.
So, with Carr watching his little brother play quarterback for the Wolverines, Stalions poked fun that the shots of the Notre Dame signal-caller in the crowd were not totally different from what kicked him out of the sport entirely.
There was CJ Carr in a box at The Big House, with binoculars no less, watching Tommy Carr play, and that led Stalions to post this on his social media account:
When CJ Carr goes to watch his brother Tommy Carr play, it’s a great story. But when a friend of mine goes to watch my son Ryan Day play, Pete Thamel throws a fit.

The reference to “my son” toward Day was an obvious attempt to point out that Michigan is Ohio State’s “daddy,” so clearly Stalions still has a healthy sense of humor well after the sign-stealing scandal.
Joking aside, the fight to make the College Football Playoff is no joke at all. Here is what the Kalshi market is currently saying about the best odds to make the elite 12-team field come December:
