It’s been a slow start to Thursday night’s Egg Bowl matchup between Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
The game has produced no points through the first quarter, and there have already been 8 punts between the two teams. Mississippi State has produced just 60 yards of offense through the first quarter, and Ole Miss has put up just 43 yards.
The game has been a snoozer so far, but Mississippi State fans are probably just happy the Bulldogs have been able to contain Ole Miss’ electric offense, which produces 36.45 points per game.
Perhaps the game will get more exciting in the second quarter, but if not, this game will put fans to sleep faster than the turkey at Thanksgiving dinner.
