Alabama and LSU’s storied rivalry on the gridiron has attracted a wide range of celebrity viewers over the years, and Death Valley will get to check another notable name off the list Saturday afternoon.

With the Crimson Tide and Bayou Bengals set to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET in what some consider a College Football Playoff elimination game, the White House announced Wednesday that First Lady Melania Trump will be in attendance for the contest.

The First Lady is making the trip on behalf of the “Fostering the Future” initiative, which aims to provide scholarships for students who went through the foster care system.

First Lady Melania Trump and Louisiana State University (LSU) have secured $5 million to establish a permanent endowment fund supporting FOSTERING THE FUTURE scholarships for LSU students who experienced foster care.

First Lady Melania Trump will travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to advance her Fostering the Future initiative with a special announcement at Louisiana State University.

During her visit, Mrs. Trump will attend the highly anticipated LSU Tigers versus Alabama Crimson Tide football game at Tiger Stadium, where a groundbreaking Fostering the Future campaign will activate across the campus and on the field.

Melania Trump’s visit will only add to what figures to be a raucous environment in Baton Rouge, as virtually everybody in the stadium will be aware that the loser will be staring at a disappointing 2026 campaign.

And while the First Lady obviously won’t be joining Lane Kiffin for his pre-game stroll into Death Valley, she does add another name to the already lengthy list of high-profile individuals who have watched his team play at LSU. From former UFC star Dustin Poirier to Theo Von, Kiffin clearly enjoys being surrounded by celebrities.
