Florida landed a big-time recruit in the class of 2026 on Monday evening.
Billy Napier and his staff got big news on Monday night as they secured a commitment from 4-star receiver Davian Groce. It had been a tight recruiting battle between Florida and SEC foe Oklahoma, but the Texas native made the decision to be a Gator.
“Can’t wait to be a part of the Swamp, go Gators,” Groce told Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett.
Securing his commitment is a big get for the Gators, as he is the No. 47 player in the class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
With Groce committing, the Gators now have the No. 13 class in the country. Sophomore quarterback DJ Lagway is one of the best players in all of college football, and he is helping Florida get some extremely talented skilled players.
Now, the success off the field will need to be reciprocated on the field to keep the fans happy with Napier and the staff. The Gators open the season against LIU on Aug. 30.
