Hansen originally enrolled at Florida back in the class of 2022. He was a 3-star prospect out of Weatherford, Texas, and eventually earned a major role with the Gators as a tight end.
During his career at Florida, Hansen caught 57 passes for 611 yards and 5 touchdowns. One of those scores came in Florida’s Week 14 demolition of Florida State last month.
In addition to his work in the passing game, Hansen was a significant contributor as a run blocker. According to Pro Football Focus, Hansen logged over 400 blocking snaps in each of the past 2 seasons.
The transfer portal will officially open on Jan. 2.
