Florida releases electric hype video ahead of rivalry game vs. Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs have beaten the Florida Gators in eight of their last nine matchups. This year’s Cocktail Party is indoors in Atlanta instead of Jacksonville because of stadium renovations. Regardless, the schools will bring their trademark intensity on Saturday, especially if Florida’s hype video is any indication.
On Monday, the Gators released an incredible montage of their best moments against the Bulldogs. A pregame read from iconic play-by-play voice Verne Lundquist sets the stage early in the footage before commentary of big plays grabs viewers’ attention.
Florida fell to Georgia 24-20 last season. The Gators’ four-point margin of defeat was their smallest against the Bulldogs since their own 44-28 victory in 2020. That performance came not under Billy Napier, but Dan Mullen.
Unlike recent meetings, this year’s contest features College Football Playoff ramifications for both schools. No. 17 Florida (5-2, 3-2 SEC) would likely be knocked out of true CFP consideration with a loss. No. 3 Georgia (6-1, 4-1 SEC) needs a rebound performance after its home defeat vs. Auburn in Week 7. A loss, with a trip to Ole Miss on deck, could spell doom for Kirby Smart‘s team’s own CFP hopes. The Gators and Bulldogs kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on Halloween (ABC).
