The Florida Gators are encouraging fans to get to The Swamp early for Saturday’s conference contest against South Carolina.
Ben Hill Griffin Stadium gates typically open 90 minutes before kickoff. For Saturday’s 12:45 p.m. ET kickoff, however, the gates will open at 10:45 a.m. Fans who enter the stadium early will have the opportunity to purchase half-price concessions for the first hour (10:45-11:45 a.m.).

It’s homecoming weekend in Gainesville. The mood may be a bit dampened by Florida’s Week 5 loss at Mizzou. The Gators were undefeated and ranked No. 8 before getting blown out by the Tigers 45-17 in Columbia. It was the first loss of the season for Jon Sumrall’s squad.
Shane Beamer’s Gamecocks are also in bounce-back mode. South Carolina fell to 2-3 and 0-3 in conference play after a heartbreaking home loss to Kentucky in overtime.
Those who are not attending the game in The Swamp can watch on the SEC Network.
