Former Alabama All-American defensive back HaHa Clinton-Dix has been released by the Las Vegas Raiders practice squad, the team announced Wednesday in a flurry of designations.

Clinton-Dix isn’t the only former Alabama player to be released this week. Former Tide offensive lineman DJ Fluker was also released by the Raiders.

Exiting high school, Clinton-Dix was a 5-star prospect from Orlando, Florida, when he signed with Alabama. He became an instant impact player for Nick Saban’s defense, and he was a significant part of Alabama’s 2011 and 2012 National Championship seasons. In 2013, Clinton-Dix was a consensus All-American for the Tide’s stout defense despite missing the first 2 games of the year.

Clinton-Dix became a first-round pick out of Alabama, as he went No. 21 overall to the Green Bay Packers. From 2014 through 2021, Clinton-Dix has played for 6 different teams.
