Former Georgia RB Zamir White signing with new NFL team

Zamir White has a new team heading into the 2026 season.
The San Francisco 49ers announced Wednesday that they have signed White. The former Georgia standout previously played for the Las Vegas Raiders.

White is entering Year 5 of his professional career. The Raiders selected him No. 122 overall in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He played his first 4 seasons with Las Vegas.
As a rookie, White saw limited action. He appeared in 14 games off the bench, logging 17 carries for 70 yards.
In 2023, White logged the best numbers of his career so far. Appearing in 17 games, including 4 starts, White posted career highs of 104 carries, 451 rushing yards and 1 touchdown, adding 15 receptions for 98 yards.
White had a career-high 5 starts over 8 games in 2024 before the Raiders placed him on injuned reserve, cutting his season short. White had 65 carries for 183 yards and 1 touchdown that year.
Last season, White saw action in 6 games. He rushed 12 times for 32 yards. He had his best year on special teams, logging 11 kick returns for 294 yards.
