Former LSU coach Les Miles took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to announce that he was going to be sharing his thoughts on the upcoming college football season.
It appeared at the time that Miles, who was fired by the Tigers early in the 2016 season, was talking about providing commentary on Twitter, but according to The Advocate, he may have been talking about television.
Though the Mad Hatter got turned down by FOX Sports after an audition a few weeks ago, he wouldn’t rule out making a few TV appearances this fall:
โIโm going to be in media and in a number of different places,โ he said, โand Iโm going to have a blast.โ
Could he be in the broadcast booth for LSU games this fall? Miles said that would be a lot of fun for him:
โI donโt think thereโs any question,โ he said. โHeck, I think Iโm going to root for every guy I recruited. Thatโs everybody, minus a few linebackers. Iโd be honest and fair in evaluation, but Iโd also be purposefully enjoying watching those Tigers.โ
Miles said he’ll travel to various college and NFL camps this month to prepare himself for the upcoming season, during which he hopes to work for several different networks.
Wherever he ends up, Miles is sure to be a hit on television, as his wealth of knowledge and unusual personality would seem to make him a perfect fit for TV.
