With a 5-1 record and coming off a bye week, things are going pretty well for the Dallas Cowboys these days.
Rookie QB Dak Prescott and rookie RB Ezekiel Elliott have led an offensive resurgence in Dallas by making the locker room feel more like a college locker room, according to the Star-Telegram:
โIt feels like college again,โ said veteran cornerback Brandon Carr, as he looks up with a smile on his face. โSpirits are flowing and we are having a good time. You can feel it.โ
Star WR Dez Bryant is excited about the atmosphere in Dallas these days, too:
โThe team chemistry is the best Iโve ever been around,โ receiver Dez Bryant said. โSince the time I set foot here, this is something you look forward to, you dream for. Itโs the most beautiful thing in the world. We got guys that actually give a damn about one another and wants to see somebody perform. When youโve got guys like that in the locker room, itโs hard to beat.
โNo matter about the talent. Talent donโt mean anything when youโve got chemistry and guys sticking together. The skyโs the limit.โ
Winning definitely helps everyone’s mood, but the Cowboys have an exciting young foundation in place that will help lead the team in the coming years.
Watch Prescott and the Cowboys take on their NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. Central time on NBC.
