Former Mississippi State standout Chris Jones makes NFL Top 100 for 4th-straight year

Chris Jones, who is entering his seventh season in the NFL, also made the top 40 on the NFL’s list of top players again. He was ranked 34th last year.

The former second-round pick (37th overall) of the Chiefs has 199 tackles, 49.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles and a touchdown in his first six seasons in the League.
Jones, who is listed at 6-foot-6, 298 pounds, was a member of the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team in 2016. He was a second-team All-Pro in 2018, 2020 and 2021. Jones helped the Chiefs win Super Bowl LIV and holds the NFL record with 11 consecutive games with a sack.
He played at Mississippi State from 2013-15 and finished with 102 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks before leaving for the NFL Draft after his junior season.
