LSU dropped to No. 10 following the shutout loss Saturday at Tiger Stadium in this week’s Football Writers Association of America poll.

Like other polls, and presumably the Tuesday release of the College Football Playoff rankings, Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Michigan are the top four teams. The SEC continues to have five teams ranked by the FWAA. After Alabama, it’s Georgia, LSU, Kentucky and Mississippi State.

With the SEC Championship matchup already settled, look for teams to focus on bowl eligibility and putting together a respectable finish. But other leagues, such as the Big 12, have looming showdowns starting with Oklahoma and West Virginia on Nov. 23.

At the bottom of the poll, UCF will look to remain undefeated as it continues its argument to be included in the CFP.

Here is this week’s poll:

FWAA

1. Alabama (9-0) 816
2. Clemson (9-0) 764
3. Notre Dame (9-0) 708
4. Michigan (8-1) 653

6. Oklahoma (8-1) 556
7. West Virginia (7-1) 441
8. Ohio State (8-1) 435
9. Washington State (8-1) 401
10. LSU (7-2) 389
11. UCF (8-0) 341
12. Kentucky (7-2) 203
13. Syracuse (7-2) 118
14. Mississippi State (6-3) 82
15. Texas (6-3) 75
16. Boston College (7-2)
