The Seminoles and the Gators sure know how to pack them in.

The two teams got together for their annual rivalry game Saturday night at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium ย and set a record for the largest crowd ever at UF. The game attracted 90,916 fans, seven more than the 2009 game between the rivals. It’s the largest crowd to ever watch a football game in the state of Florida.

Florida fans have done a great job supporting the Gators in Jim McElwain’s first year. Florida drew 90,227 fans for the season opener, which was the largest opening-day crowd since 2009.

Floridaโ€™s had five 90,000-plus crowds in six of seven home games of this season, which marks UFโ€™s most since 2010.
