Georgia adds standout specialist to 2026 recruiting class

Wade Register did not need long to tell Kirby Smart he wants to be a Georgia Bulldog.
The UGA staff extended a scholarship offer to Register on Tuesday. Less than 24 hours later, the standout specialist from Trinity Christian School in Dublin, Georgia committed to the G. He made the big announcement on social media.

Kohl’s Kicking rates the 6-2, 220-pound Register as a 5-star punter and No. 1 in the class. Register took part in the camp’s Underclassman Challenge and scored a camp high in punting and won a punt competition.
As a junior, Register averaged 47.9 yards per punt, with a long of 69 on 32 punts. He’s also a kicker, making 31-of-32 PATs and 7-of-10 field goals last season, earning a 4.5-star rating from Kohl’s.
