Georgia basketball landed a crucial commitment in the class of 2023 on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs added a commitment from 4-star shooting guard Blue Cain. He’s regarded as one of the top guards in the class and was previously committed to Georgia Tech.

Cain is listed at 6-foot-4, 180 pounds. He attended IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
He’s now the top-ranked player in a stellar Georgia recruiting class. Cain is the No. 74 overall prospect in the country for the class of 2023, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 11 shooting guard.
Georgia now has 4 commitments from 4-star prospects via the high school ranks. The other 3 have already signed with the Bulldogs. UGA’s class ranks No. 19 nationally per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Georgia has also added a trio of transfers so far this cycle. The Bulldogs will be hoping to make a big leap during Mike White’s 2nd season at the helm in 2023-24.
