Georgia fans, media remember Trent ‘Big Dawg’ Woods, who passed away

Georgia fans and media this week remembered Trent “Big Dawg” Woods who suddenly passed away at age 45, according to multiple reports.

Woods carried on the family tradition of painting a bulldog on his head after his dad, Mike, passed away in 2017. His father came to every game with a bulldog painted on his head and often stopped to grab a quick picture with fellow Georgia fans.

“It has been a blessing, and painful,” Woods told Georgia’s student newspaper, “The Red and Black.” “I know my dad would be here right now with me, and I know that he would be having so much fun. But I also know that I am proud that I could do this for him right now.”
