Georgia hasn’t played a big-time opponent yet, but no team in college football has been as dominant as the Bulldogs in the first five weeks of the year. The Bulldogs continued that hot start to the season on Saturday, knocking off Vanderbilt, 38-14.
The 24-point win against the Commodores was UGA’s closest game of the year.
Not only have the Bulldogs won every game going away, but the Bulldogs join only North Dakota State and Indiana as the only FBS teams yet to trail in a game.
Gunner Stockton is off to a tremendous start for the Bulldogs, throwing for 1,049 yards, 13 touchdowns, and one interception. As he has been throughout his college career, he is control of the offense and has played complementary football with what is one of the best defenses in the country.

While the Bulldogs haven’t played the toughest schedule yet, that changes, and it changes fast. Up next for Georgia is a game at Alabama in Week 6. College GameDay will be there, and this will be by far the most difficult game so far.
Kickoff for that game is at 7:30 p.m. ET, and that game will be on ABC.
