Georgia lands 2021 safety commit from South Carolina

Georgia has picked up its first commitment for the 2021 class with the announcement from a safety from Honea Path, S.C.

Bralyn Oliver is a 6-foot-2 and 190-pound safety listed as a 3-star prospect by the 247 Sports Composite. He reportedly had nine offers, including a couple of ACC schools and Tennessee. He thanked his family in his announcement on Twitter, in which he tagged Georgia coaches Kirby Smart, Dan Lanning and Charlton Warren, among others.

He’s ranked the No. 27 safety in his class, and the No. 6 player in the Palmetto State.

With this commitment, Georgia is ranked No. 10 in the SEC for the 2021 class, and No. 31 nationally.
