Georgia lands 2027 commitment from DL out of North Carolina

Antwan McKoy has found a home in Athens.

McKoy is the newest commitment of Georgia‘s 2027 recruiting class. He announced his pledge to play for Kirby Smart‘s program on Tuesday via social media.

Out of St. Pauls (North Carolina) High School, McKoy is listed as measuring 6-3 and 295 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, McKoy is rated 3-stars, the No. 14 player in the state of North Carolina, No. 52 defensive lineman and No. 451 prospect overall in the Class of 2027.

McKoy has collected 15 scholarship offers during his recruitment. South Carolina, Kentucky, Ole Miss, North Carolina, NC State, Duke, Miami, Kansas State, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest are among the other programs to show interest in McKoy.

With McKoy on board, Georgia now has 17 verbal commitments for 2027. The class currently ranks No. 9 nationally on the Composite. Bulldog fans can get a preview of what McKoy brings to UGA next year by checking out his highlights in the Hudl video below:
