Georgia picks up commitment from elite in-state 2020 defensive tackle

The Georgia Bulldogs currently have the No. 1 2019 recruiting class in the nation, per the 247Sports composite.
However, Saturday was about coach Kirby Smart’s 2020 class, as the Dawgs added a commitment from a 4-star defensive tackle out of Georgia.
As you can see in the video below, Jamil Burroughs announces that he’s going to be heading to Athens for the 2020 season:

According to the 247Sports composite, Burroughs is the No. 4 defensive tackle in the class of 2020 and the No. 8 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.
The Bulldogs now have three players in their 2020 class. Prior to Burroughs’ commitment, the class ranked No. 7 in the SEC and No. 15 nationally, per 247Sports.
