The win means that New Orleans has now won 8 of its last 10 games. The Pelicans currently sit in the No. 8 spot in the west and have already clinched a play-in berth.
Jones has become a crucial member of his team. He has started 64 games for New Orleans this season and is averaging 9.8 points per game. He also often guards the opposition’s best perimeter player.
There are just 2 games left in the regular season, but New Orleans’ playoff destination remains unclear. Jones and the Pelicans will be in action again on Friday night against the Knicks.
