Jackson Harris continues hot streak, scores opening touchdown at Auburn
LSU transfer receiver Jackson Harris recorded only six catches in two seasons at Stanford (2023-24). He left the West Coast for the islands in 2025 and dominated for Hawaii, making 49 receptions for 963 yards and 12 touchdowns for the Rainbow Warriors. That success led him back to the Power 4, where he’s replicating his junior year performance.
Harris, who has scored five touchdowns in the Tigers’ last three games, added a sixth receiving score early in Saturday’s game against Auburn. Quarterback Sam Leavitt found Harris on a slant from 10 yards away to give LSU a 10-3 lead over their fellow Tiger foe.

Leavitt’s play-action fake and slight backward hop-step gave him just enough time to avoid Auburn’s pressure and connect with Harris. Defensive back Kaleb Harris blitzed off the edge for the hometown Tigers on the play, but did not get home.
Harris’ first quarter receiving production — four catches, 47 yards and the touchdown — was greater than the rest of LSU’s receiving options combined (three receptions, 24 yards). He has made at least four catches in each of the Tigers’ last five games after contributing five total receptions in their first three contests of the season. LSU and Auburn are currently battling on ABC.
