Former Alabama OL Cam Robinson is set to return to the field as he continues to recover from a torn ACL injury suffered early last season.

The left tackle for the Jacksonville Jaguars has been out since Week 2, and will be limited in workouts as the team gets him ready for the regular season. Coach Doug Marrone said Robinson is off the physically unable to perform list, according to Kevin Patra of NFL.com.

Robinson’s status improved rapidly in recent days, something Marrone couldn’t immediately explain.

“Hey, you take it,” Marrone said. “It’s like when you’re walking on the street and you see $20. You pick it up, right? No one’s around, you pick it up, you put it in your pocket, you’re happy about it, you move on.”

Robinson is entering his third NFL season and has 17 career starts. Jacksonville drafted him in the second round, 34th overall, of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Robinson is a former top-five national recruit and high school All-American. The two-time first-team All-SEC pick started every game of his career on the blind side.
