Jerry Jeudy evaluates Denver QB competition between Drew Lock, Teddy Bridgewater

One of the offseason storylines that’s drawing attention in the NFL is the quarterback situation in Denver between former Mizzou star Drew Lock and former Louisville star Teddy Bridgewater.
A receiver who is in position to evaluate how each handles the position is former Alabama star Jerry Jeudy. Jeudy was a guest on “The Jim Rome Show” and shared his perspective.
โDrew is more of a bullet-type thrower. He relies a lot more on his arm,โ Jeudy told Rome, per Pro Football Talk. โTeddy, I feel he more anticipates and throws it and knows how to anticipate on your routes. Thatโs the only difference I see between them. But I feel like theyโre two great quarterbacks who are out here competing. Having them compete against each other, you can see both of them are improving in their game.โ
Both quarterbacks are looking to rebound in 2021. Lockโs 15 interceptions last season tied for the league lead. He threw 16 TD passes and went 4-9, missing time with a shoulder injury and for violating COVID-19 protocols, the AP reported.
Lock said he and new offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur have gotten much more comfortable with each other after finally clicking late last season.
โHeโs been extremely cooperative with what I say I like or what I say I donโt like,โ Lock said. โWeโve meshed really, really well this offseason and added a couple new things he thinks might fit the style of game that we play.โ
And, Lock said, โI think the chemistry with the receivers is definitely taking strides forward.โ
