Jumping on the Lane Train: Ole Miss reaches into Georgia to land commitment from lineman Jibran Hawkins

In what could be the start of a nice weekend on the recruiting trail for Ole Miss, the Rebels just landed a commitment from Georgia native, Jibran Hawkins.
Hawkins announced his decision by posting a video on YouTube.
The 6-foot-2, 245-pound Discovery High School of Lawrenceville, Ga., does not currently have a recruiting ranking but he does hold scholarship offers from Arkansas, Mississippi State, Houston, Memphis and Navy, among others.
Following this news, Ole Miss now holds commitments from eight prospects in the 2021 recruiting cycle. Hawkins is currently the only defensive lineman in the class.
