Here’s what Florida coach Jim McElwain said after his team’s 21-3 win Saturday night at Missouri:
On how the Gators played:
“We didn’t play great by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m proud of them.”
On the defensive performance:
“I gotta tell you I was really proud of (the defense). We didn’t play with great energy. Sometimes you gotta win games that way.”
On his assessment of the team halfway through the season:
“I don’t know where we’re at, we’ll find out next week.”
Mac on #Gators: "[We] showed something. It's hard playing here. … We held serve and took off from there defensively."
